On January 8, 2009, Wilton Manors Chief Richard E. Perez was sworn in as the new Treasurer of the Broward County Police Chiefs’ Association at the Marriott Heron Bay. In attendance were Mayor Gary Resnick, City Manager Joseph Gallegos, Captain Edward Costello, and Captain Dorris Seibert. The Association is comprised of all of the Police Chiefs from the agencies in Broward County.
