Operations Bureau

The Operations Bureau is the uniformed division of the Wilton Manors Police Department. It is under the supervision of Commander Edward Costello including three Sergeants who each supervise a shift and nineteen Police Officers. The function of the Operations Bureau is to provide quality law enforcement and maintain a strong partnership with the community, while providing for a safe and secure environment. The Operations Sergeants are responsible for the immediate supervision of their respective shift's Police Officers. Police Officers respond to calls for service, work traffic enforcement, initiate arrests, and perform neighborhood patrols. Patrol also consists of the Youth Services , Traffic Unit, Bicycle Patrol, and Marine Patrol Division.
